Elegant Pair 19th C. French Console Tables

A French pair of nicely-sized wooden console tables, with beautifully embellished aprons, from the 19th century. This antique pair of tables from France have a soft and shapely serpentine design along their front and sides, with their flatter backsides (as to hug the wall) being slightly longer. The aprons are adorn on three sides in a rhythmic display of crossed leafy branches bundled together with a bow-tied ribbon, and have a gently swagged and scallop carved skirt. Each table is presented upon four slender and elongated cabriole legs, terminating into whorl feet, with front pair being inset slightly from those at backside. There is a neutral taupe/warm beige wash about the wood, with a silver colored accent trim (and some traces of the original trim color showing through). These 19th century French carved-wood console tables, approximately 4.25 feet in width, paired together, make a statement of grace and elegance!
