French Ionic Column Pedestal Accent Tables

A French pair of custom painted column pedestal accent tables from the mid 20th century. These mid-century pedestals from France are each design in an ionic column style, with rounded and fluted bodies, and flattened tops more rectangular-in shape, with scrolling volute ends and an egg n dart molding about their underside. The columns are presented upon stacked square-shaped bases. There is a custom finish primarily in neutral beige tones with hints of green. The flat area on top of the pedestal (to place a vase or other decorative object) measures approximately 11.25" wide by 11" deep. At widest, the volute at the top of the column is 17 inches, and the bottom base is 15.25" wide by 15" deep. This vintage pair of French ionic column tables will work well as a pair of side tables, drinks tables, or perhaps as pedestals for displaying art or plants.
