Early 19th C Italian Demi Lunes- Great Legs
An Italian pair of beautifully-carved, lyre leg console tables from the early 19th century. These antique tables from Italy each feature a half-round/demi-style tops, which are raised upon a pair of sinuously carved and slightly canted lyre-legs with lovely fretwork which is repeated in the design of the carved stretcher which runs between them about the underside of the table. This walnut wood table is a rich brown with lovely patina and age, reflective of it's history. This pair of early 19th century Italian lyre-leg demi-lune tables are approximately 4.6 in width each if used as a individual consoles, or should you prefer, they could be married together along their flattened backsides to create a 4.6 feet in diameter center table.
