Fabulous Late 18th C. Italian Demi-Lunes

An Italian pair of carved-walnut, Lyre leg console tables from the turn of the 18th and 19th century. These antique tables from Italy each feature a demi-style, half-moon shaped tops with a wonderful carved trim detail outlining the underside of their rounded tops along the front. They are presented upon three sinuously carved legs, creating an elegant lyre motif between them. The wood is a deep, rich brown with lovely patina and age, with top having a bit more wear; a reflection of their history. This pair of late 18th century Italian lyre-leg demi consoles are a really cute size, just shy of 3 feet in width each.
