French Antique Decorative Wall Plaque

A French carved and painted decorative hanging wall plaque from the early 20th century. This antique wall decoration from France has a rectangular-shaped frame with a scalloped center panel that is embellished with beautifully curled acanthus leaves on the top, bottom and each side. The finish consists of an older brown w/hints of green accent paint which is old, and newer custom off-white beige finish throughout the remained of the plaque. This early 20th century French plaque is approximately 2.6 feet in width and just over 3 feet in height.
