Silver & Gold Églomisé Sunburst Mirrors

A pair of tall American artisan crafted mirrors with gold verre églomisé sunburst set within upper center within a mirrored frame panel. These custom rectangular-shaped mirrors, standing just shy of 6.5 feet in height, each feature a cleanly designed antiqued-mirror surround, two-paneled glass center, with the gold verre églomisé star or sunburst positioned within the mirror's upper panel. The center glass is clear and without antiquing. Verre églomisé, a French term dating back to pre-Roman eras, is the technique by which a design and gilding is applied to the rear side of the glass, with artistic detail being visible from the front. This tall pair of artisan mirrors, embellished with églomisé sunbursts, would blending seamlessly within any number of decorative styles, from traditional to modern.
