French Pair of Neoclassic Style Side Chairs

A French pair of Neoclassical carved and painted wood accent chairs, with upholstered seats, from the mid 20th century. These vintage chairs from France feature beautiful arrow carved back-splats, set within a frame carved with urn and twined-reed motif. Shells are carved at the knees within the cleanly designed bottom chair rail. And each chair is raised on round, fluted front legs that gently taper to peg feet, with sabre rear legs. The seat cushions are a faux patent leather/vinyl in black with gold, which appear in good/usable condition (not original). These mid-century French neoclassical style side chairs, with their carved arrow backs, would make a perfect addition to your sunroom bistro, breakfast, or game room table.
