A French pair of Louis XVI style newly upholstered bergère chairs from the mid 20th century. This mid-century pair of Louis XVI style armchairs from France each feature a rectangular-shaped back with a linear molded top-rail and back frame. Arms are upholstered at sides and arm rests have manchette padding and terminate into carved scrolled knuckles. The skirt follows the same linear lines as the top, with rosettes embellishing each corner at knee. The chairs are presented upon four rounded and flute-carved legs, which gently taper towards their feet. This pair of Louis XVI style French bergère chairs have been newly upholstered in neutral Belgian linen.
