Italian Pair Wooden Armchairs, Early 20th C

An Italian pair of wooden armchairs with upholstered seats from the early 20th century. These antique chairs from Italy have a sophisticated, soft design with straight top rail that is nicely tilted back, elegantly sloped arms with petite knuckles, and wood backs with a horizontally positioned pierced back-splat which creates an open airy space between the back and seat area. A clean lined wooden skirting is found between the four legs, with sabre legs at rear. The fabric on the upholstered seats have a few stains, so it'd be a great time to give these a refresher to make them your own. This pair of early 20th century Italian armchairs have a great construction and aesthetic to them and will make wonderful conversational or accent seating.
