French Renaissance Style Side Chairs (6)

A French set of six Renaissance style carved wood and upholstered side chairs from the early 20th century. These antique chairs from France, designed with Renaissance influences, each having tall arched backs, with back and seat fabric depicting an equestrian fox hunting theme. The chairs are presented upon four wood legs, with front pair having a beautifully carved shape and terminating into paw feet, and rear legs are turned and sabre at their feet. There is a wood stretcher bar connecting the front pair which are carved with a flower at center, flanked within a leaves and s-scrolls. The legs are further supported with a turned H-stretcher at underside of the chair, and a turned brace between the legs at backside. The fabric is newer and in fine, useable condition. This set of six French early 20th century, high-back side chairs will surround your dining table with the warmth and romance of Renaissance style.
