Vintage 7 Ft Chest of Drawers, Ivory & Gold

A vintage chest of nine drawers, with new custom ivory finish, by renowned US furniture markers "American of Martinsville." This finely crafted case-piece from American of Martinsville has been designed with elegantly linear lines, comprised of three rows of drawers; each row having a pair of smaller end-drawers flanking a larger drawer within their center, and all separated and vertically-framed with fluted columns adorn with gold accents at top. The recessed-panel and dove-tailed drawers are all fitted with gold-toned hardware, with the larger/center drawers having a circular medallion accentuating their mid-sections and larger hardware. The skirting is cleanly molded and the chest is presented upon short tapering metal feet in gold. This piece has a new custom finish in ivory, which paired with the gold accents, gives it a refreshing and clean look. This Martinsville chest of drawers, circa 1970's, has a classy and refined look which would compliment both traditional and modern aesthetics, and is a nicely-sized piece at approximately 7 feet in length.
