Vintage Serpentine Commode w/Rococo Pulls

A French-style carved-wood serpentine commode with three drawers, from the mid 20th century. This mid-century chest, likely American, but designed with French influences, has a serpentine-shaped body, with front top carvings continuing the motif down the front of each drawer and onto the apron at bottom, with skirt scalloped about three sides. The case houses three skirt carved on three sides, and raised on four petitely-carved cabriole legs. The case houses three full-sized drawers, fitted with Rococo style hardware, and flanked within nicely-carved and rounded front side posts. The chest is presented upon cabriole legs. There is a scraped finish which has been complimented with a white accent trim. This French style serpentine commode, with its soft curves and lovely finish, will be a wonderful case piece for your storage and display needs.
