19th C. French Walnut Commode, Clean Lines

A French cleanly-designed, rich walnut wood, chest of drawers from the 19th century. This antique wooden commode from France features a rectangular-shaped top, above a case which houses three full-sized, dove-tailed drawers, and raised upon squared legs that taper towards their feet. Each drawer is adorn with an elaborate pair of rococo style bail-pulls and an escutcheon set at the center. The walnut has a deep, rich wood tone, and beautiful patina. This 19th century French chest would work beautifully in a bedroom, living room, or within an entry hall- perhaps adorn with a few decorative objects and one of our lovely French antique mirrors hanging above!
