Swedish 19th C Buffet w/Softly Bowed Front

A Swedish painted wood buffet cabinet, with bowed front, from the 19th century. This antique chest from Sweden has been designed with a softly bowed front which carries through from its top down to the bottom rail. The case houses a pair of half-sized drawers set atop a pair of recessed panel doors (which open to reveal a shelf within for plentiful storage potential). The piece is raised from the ground on bracket style feet and front skirting is clean and linear. The coloring primarily consists of light green and taupe; nicely contrasting the more natural wood finish of the top. Please note that due to age and bowed design of the chest, that the drawers currently do not shut all of the way closed (see side images for more detail). This 19th century Swedish console cabinet will be a good option when desiring something a bit more rustic or casual, with a versatile size of approximately 4.6 feet in width.
