A Denarius Silver [coin] richly trimmed with 18 karat gold orbs and bail. This "extremely fine" (XF) coin shows the Face of Medusa from the Roman Republic of L. Plautius Plancus circa 47 BC, minted in Rome. The Obverse side is the face of Medusa with disheveled hair and dotted round frame around the face, possibly with the head of a snake on the left. On the Reverse side is Winged Victory leading four rearing horses. This coin has been inspected and approved to be authentic by a professional Numismatic who specializes in ancient coinage.
