A Silver Tetradrachm Owl w Diamond & 18K
A Silver Tetradrachm coin minted at Attica, Athens in the second half of 5th Century BC. The original coin weighs 17.19 grams and is 25.21 mm wide. The coin has 18 karat gold trim around its perimeter, and has four prongs to add some flair and suspend the coin in its trim; there is a spectacular round diamond on the front bail over the owl side. On the left of the owl (on the Reverse side) is a small crescent moon and "AOE" on its right. On the obverse side is the Head of Athena with crown and earing. This coin has been inspected and approved to be authentic by a professional Numismatic who specializes in ancient coinage. A Certificate of Authenticity will accompany this coin.
