Late 18th C Two-Drawer Coffee Table, Spain

A Spanish wooden coffee table with drawers, from the turn of the 18th and 19th century. This antique wooden table from Spain features a rectangular-shaped top (approximately 3.75 feet in width) which overhangs the apron that houses a pair of smaller-sized drawers along one longer side. The drawers are each fitted with wood carved knob pulls. The table is raised upon a pair of sawhorse style trestle legs, which are braced with a wooden H-stretcher just above the feet. The wood has a wonderful richness and warmth to it with an old patina and some wood splits at the top; a reflection of its history of prior use and age. This late 18th century Spanish table, with its two drawers for storage, will make a beautifully rustic coffee table for a more casual seating arrangement.
