Hollywood Regency Valance Carved Mirror

An American Hollywood Regency style decorative wall mirror in valance draped fabric motif. This vintage mirror Hollywood Regency style mirror has a rectangular-shaped frame, with upper crest being carved as to mimic the appearance of fabric swagged across the top, with circular ribbon and leaf motif tie-backs featured at each shoulder, as the fabric continues to hand down each side, ending with tassel style bottoms. The lower part of the frame has small lambs tongue trim about the exterior with petite bead trim at inner surround. The overall coloring of the "fabric" is cream, with gold accents about the trim and "tie-backs". The finish is original and there are some chippy areas, most notable across the lower frame. This vintage Hollywood Regency style valance-carved mirror would be a great option over a powder room sink or bedroom dresser.
