French Large-Size OverMantel Mirror, 19th C

A French large-sized, mirror with nicely carved-wood frame, from the 19th century. This antique trumeau style mirror from France features a rectangular-shaped frame with linear molded cornice at top rail, and four decoratively carved panels adorning the interior frame, with one pair set above and below the antiqued glass center. The wood has a bleached finish with a lovely old patina throughout which reflects it's age and history of use. This 19th century French mirror, standing just shy of 6 feet in height, and over 4 feet in width, has a bold presence to it, making it a great decorative piece for atop a fireplace mantel, over an entry foyer table, or perhaps a very special piece for your bedroom.
