French 19th c Mirror w/Bouquet Carved Crest

A French Neoclassical style carved and gilt wood mirror from the 19th century. This antique wall decoration from France has a rectangular-shaped mirror, with beautiful pierce-carved crest carved featuring a central bouquet with foliage and draped "fabric" gently cascading down each shoulder. The main section of the mirror has a rectangular-shaped frame carved with a ribbed trim about the perimeter, and petite beaded trim outlining the most inner surround. The lower corners of the mirror have embellished accents and flower petal feet. The gilt finish has a nicely aged patina throughout. This 19th century French Neoclassical mirror would look quite lovely adorning a bedroom, powder room, or entry hall wall.
