Verre Églomisé Sunburst Mirror, 4 Ft Round

A fabulous artisan-crafted 48" round-shaped gold starburst mirror. This artisan made in America custom mirror is nicely sized wall decoration at approximately 4 feet in diameter. This round-shaped mirror is adorn with an exquisite verre églomisé gold sunburst encompassing much of its center, surrounded by beautifully antiqued/cloudy glass, and has a simple black outer frame which thinly outlines the edges. The sunburst design is made of a series of alternating, thin rays bursting outwardly from the center. Verre églomisé, a French term dating back to pre-Roman eras, is the technique by which a design and gilding is applied to the rear side of the glass, with artistic detail being visible from the front. This large, round-shaped mirror with églomisé sunburst center has a timeless design, allowing it to blend seamlessly within any number of decorative styles, from traditional to modern.
