Italian Pair Urn Motif Painted Cassetteire

An Italian pair of Neoclassical inspired, hand-painted console chests, with faux-marble tops. This pair of vintage cassettiere (Italian for chests of drawers) from Italy each features a rectangular-shaped faux-marble painted top, over a case which houses a pair of full-sized drawers. There is a hand-painted finish throughout, done in a soft color palette, in a Neoclassical influenced motif of urns, with whimsical foliage and bow-tied garlands. Each drawer is fitted with a pair of decorative brass ring bail pulls with a wreathed escutcheon set at center. The chests are presented upon square tapered legs. These Italian chests, just shy of 3.5 feet in length, will make a fabulous pair of decorative storage and display pieces, perfect for your bedroom or living area.
