Early 19th C. Side Chest w/Marquetry, Italy

An Italian small-sized, three-drawer chest, with floral marquetry inlay embellishments, from the early 19th century. This petite sized antique chest from Italy houses three drawers, has a recessed panel design at each case side, and is raised on decoratively carved bracket feet (which give a pierce carved affect and interest to the lower portion of this piece.) Each of the dove-tailed drawers have a raised plaque panel that have be adorn with inlay marquetry in a foliate motif. Please note that there is a slight bit of separation to the wood at the top; see additional images for further detail. This petite early 19th century Italian chest would work well as an end table alongside a chair or love seat, or perhaps in a powder room as a decorative storage option.
