French Cylindrical Wooden Side Chest
A French wooden cylindrical side chest with storage from the mid 20th century. This mid-century chest from France has a 16.25" diameter, round-shaped top (with circular banding about the perimeter), with case beneath continuing in a cylindrical-shaped design with single door at one side (having a faux three drawer appearance with inlay and three decoratively hanging pulls) which opens to reveal a shelf for storage within. The chest is presented on three square, tapering legs, with rosette carved knees. This playfully tubular side chest from France, which can be viewed from various angles, will make a delightful end table to your favorite chair, or perhaps a great accent case piece for a living or bedroom.
