Petite Italian Lift-Top Cabinet, 19th C.

An Italian small sized raised cabinet, with lift top access, from the 19th century. This antique side chest from Italy has a rectangular-shaped, and faux-marble painted, top with lifts to reveal storage within. The case has a single door that opens to an inner shelf. Swag carved skirting adorns the front and both sides. The cabinet is raised on four delicately curved legs, giving it a nice lift from the ground. There is a latch at the bottom which allows the door to open. The gold-rod toned faux marble top contrasts nicely with the reddish hues of the wood. This 19th century French petite lift-top cabinet will make a lovely decorative storage and display addition to your home, with endless functionality!
